Deb Bissonnette, CNM, MSN

Deb earned her BSN and MSN at Nazareth College of Rochester and SUNY StoneyBrook, respectively. 

She has lived in New York all of her life, moving to Montour Falls in 2001 when she began her current midwifery position.  Deb transitioned into private practice from hospital employment on April 1, 2006.  She is passionate about providing women with multiple health choices and is particulary focused on nutrition and birth.

She enjoys many other interests in her time away from work: music (an accomplished flutist), cooking, reading, yoga, and horseback riding. Midwife Deb also enjoys animals and has several "pets" including her adorable miniature dachshund, Daniel, a beautiful Arab-Percheron horse, Jeb, as well as two Beta fish, Ginseng and Feng shui (pronounced fung shway).
Meet the Staff

Jayne earned her certificate as a Whole Health Educator after completing a two year program plus an Externship with The National Institute of Whole Health in Wellesley, MA.  She is excited about sharing this model of health information counseling with others. 

Jayne is a native of northern California.  She currently resides in Hector with her husband, teenage son and dog, Lilly.   During her spare time she enjoys nature walks, playing her dulcimer, and reading.  She has a special interest in how the brain and heart communicate with each other- neurocardiology and aromatherapy.

Rebekah LaMoreaux
Rebekah LaMoreaux is the Financial Advisor, as well as the Biller, for September Hill Women’s Center. In addition to these rewarding positions, she operates a Certified Group Daycare out of her home, named REBEKAH’S PLACE DAYCARE.

She is also working on her degree to double major in Early Education and Accounting. Rebekah has lived in New York most of her life.

She currently lives in Burdett with her husband, Mike, and her two beautiful children, Alexandria (age 4) and Ryanna (age 6).When there is time in her life that is not filled with work, college, children, a husband, 1 dog, 3 cats, and 3 guinea pigs, Rebekah enjoys cooking, writing, reading, and the company of a few close friends. 
Elizabeth earned her Bachelors Degree in Finance from SUNY Oswego in December of 2005, and is currently working as September Hill’s Patient Service Representative.  Working at September Hill has its advantages, as Deb Bissonnette will be delivering Elizabeth’s Son this December.    

Elizabeth grew up in Lisbon, New York, and moved to Dundee with her husband, Patrick, in the summer of 2004.  She enjoys spending time with her family, quilting, kayaking, camping, watching movies, reading, and playing with her two dogs, a purebred Italian Greyhound named “Barkley,” and a purebred Papillion named “Gus.”

Maria is a certified HypnoBirthing Practitioner.  She earned her certification in May 2004 in Old Lyme, CT.  She also holds a BA in English as well as New York and Pennsylvania Secondary Teacher Certifications. 

In addition to teaching HypnoBirthing classes, Maria is an experienced HypnoBirthing mother and is excited to share her experience and knowledge of this technique with pregnant women and their birthing companions.   

Maria has lived in the Twin Tiers her whole life and now resides in Campbell, NY with her husband, two children, and two Labradors, Jed and Wilbur.  During her spare time she enjoys hiking, canoeing, yoga, reading, and writing.  She is currently working on a novel and a poetry chapbook for future publication.
